The Indiana University Libraries have completed a project to digitize issues of the Indiana Daily Student from 1938 to 1949. This initiative aims to preserve historical records and make them accessible to the public.

According to the IU Libraries, this project "provides a rich resource for researchers interested in mid-20th century history." The collection includes various topics such as World War II, post-war campus life, and other significant events of that era.

This digital archive is part of an ongoing effort by IU Libraries to enhance access to its vast collections. They state that it will "allow students, faculty, and researchers worldwide" to explore these archives without physical constraints.

The digitized issues are now available online through the IU Libraries website. Researchers can view them for free, offering new opportunities for study and discovery.
