Sisniega is interested in exploring the connection between technology, biology, religious philosophy, and consciousness. At the center of his practice, Raul expresses the nature of reality through images. Many of these images arise from the reflections in the search to find meaning in human experience. Through repeating patterns, ancient symbols, and geometric characters, he constructs scenes that aspire to transport the viewer on a psychedelic, spiritual and hypnotic journey. Sisniega was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and lives and works in Mexico City.
The Pilsen Arts & Community House is a nonprofit organization providing space, resources, and creative community engagement through exhibitions, art instruction, and mentorship.
