Grenadiers Hit Program Record 17 Three-Pointers In 86-56 Victory Over IU Kokomo

IU Kokomo scored the first two points of the first quarter, but their 2-0 advantage was the only lead they would hold all game. IU Southeast scored 21 of the game's next 23 points to pull out in front 21-4. The Grenadiers hit four threes in the first quarter, leading 22-10 after 10 minutes of play.

 The Grenadiers started the second quarter with four straight threes and a layup to extend their lead to 36-10. Two more threes gave IU Southeast a 42-14 advantage, and a jumper by Lauren Lambdin gave the Grenadiers a 44-16 halftime lead. IU Southeast hit 10 threes in the first half.

 IU Southeast opened the third quarter with a 10-3 run to extend their lead to 51-19. Lauren Lambdin capped off the run with the team's 11th three-pointer of the game. Another Lauren Lambdin three gave the Grenadiers a 59-27 lead later in the third quarter. IU Kokomo scored the final seven points of the third quarter, but IU Southeast took a 63-38 lead into the fourth.

 Makenna Wilson hit a three for IU Southeast's first field goal of the fourth quarter, bringing the team's three-point total to 13. Brynna Blackburn and Emmy Ralph hit back-to-back threes to tie the program record with 15 made threes. Emmy Ralph hit 2 more threes in the fourth quarter to set the team (17) and individual (8) single game three point records.

 IU Southeast used their sharpshooting to defeat IU Kokomo 86-56. Emmy Ralph had a team-high 26 points, going 8-15 from three. Lauren Lambdin scored 20 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Sierra Graham and Brynna Blackburn each scored nine points for the Grenadiers.

 IU Southeast shot 50.8 percent from the floor and assisted on 21 of their 32 field goals. The Grenadiers hit 17 of their 33 three-point attempts. IU Kokomo was held to 33.9 percent shooting, and the Grenadiers outrebounded the Cougars 47-28.

 The Grenadiers moved to 7-3 overall and 2-2 in the RSC. IU Kokomo remained winless, falling to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in RSC play.

 IU Southeast returns to action on December 13th with a home contest against Fisk University.
