Details
This class teaches you how to feel comfortable and in control as labor approaches. You and a support partner will learn coping strategies for labor and a variety of options and possible scenarios for labor. A tour of the perinatal unit is included in this class.
We recommend new parents take Baby Basics and a Breastfeeding class as well.
Expectant mothers should enroll for this course. We encourage one support person to attend with mom, but does not need to enroll.
This class is free for those with Medicaid. Discounts available for IU Health team members.
