Iu Southeast Baseball Ranked No. 18 In 2023 Naia Preseason Coaches' Poll
The IU Southeast baseball team is ranked No. 18 in the 2023 NAIA Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Grenadiers moved up one spot from the final coaches' poll of the 2022 season. IU Southeast finished the year with a record of 40-15 and went 20-4 in conference play.
IU Southeast won the River States Conference regular season championship for the fourth-straight season and conference tournament title for the second-straight year.
The Grenadiers advanced to the NAIA tournament for the sixth-consecutive season that the tournament was contested.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and the Association of Independent Institutions.
The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
