Kyle Hawkins Rejoins Iu Southeast Athletic Department
Kyle Hawkins rejoins the IU Southeast Athletic Department as Athletics Operations Coordinator and Assistant Baseball Coach.
Hawkins was the athletics operations assistant from December 2021-June 2022.
This summer, he joined IUPUC as their Sports Information Director/Compliance Officer. He handled NAIA Eligibility and was an academic liaison for the student-athletes on top of building processes for the school and athletic department as IUPUC begins intercollegiate athletics for the first time this fall.
"It is great to welcome Kyle back to the IU Southeast athletic department," Interim Director of Athletics Amanda Dailey-Weaver said. "Kyle's passion for IU Southeast, work ethic and knowledge of the department make him a great asset for us. We are thrilled to have him back on campus."
Kyle played baseball at IU Southeast, where he was a first team all-conference selection, NAIA Scholar Athlete and was a River States Conference Scholar-Athlete. In his time at IU Southeast, he also worked with the administrative staff assisting with game operations and learning the innerworkings of the department, with a focus on eligibility. He graduated with a degree in Business with distinction in 2019.
