We're pleased to welcome Claire Leikert to our incoming 1L class this August! Claire hails from Ludington, Michigan, and majored in business at Hope College. At Hope, Claire teamed up with some of her colleagues to create the college's first-ever undergraduate journal, The Bell Tower. The inaugural issue launched this past spring. Claire said she felt like IU would be a fantastic place to go through law school when she arrived for a visit. "I like the city of Bloomington and that it is a classic Midwestern town," she said. "The people in the Office of Admissions made me feel valued throughout the application process, and I instantly loved IU's campus when I visited. And I like that Indianapolis is not too far away to be able to take advantage of what the bigger city has to offer." Claire, who's getting married in July (congrats!), said she's looking forward to starting here this fall and exploring many of Bloomington's excellent restaurants. Welcome, Claire!
